  GRID UNEP/GRID-Warsaw Centre functions within the global GRID (Global Resource Information Database) network, established in the framework of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). The centre supports the effective resource management of natural environment and promotes eco-friendly behaviours and attitudes in the society.

Partnerzy:

Uni Gen University of Geneva, Department of Geography and Environment (Faculty of Social and Economic Sciences) is one of the leading research centres on social and cultural geography, cross-border issues and environmental management. As a Project Partner, it shares its experience on the planning for sustainable regional development, formation of partner networks, regional initiatives and management of mountain areas (including good practices of sustainable development of Alpine communes).
 stowarzyszenie Ecopsychology Association (Cracow) - its aim is to initiate implement and promote actions for environmental protection and development of social responsibility for natural heritage, with particular focus on fostering an active attitude and civic society development. Since 2003, the Association initiates and implements actions increasing public participation in the Carpathian Convention.
 REC Polish Country Office of the Regional Environmental Center for Central and Eastern Europe (Warsaw) supports the cooperation between organisations acting for environmental protection, supports the exchange of information and public participation in taking decisions related to environmental protection.
Gazdowie Tatra-Beskidy Cooperative of Producers “Gazdowie”  (Leśnica) was set up by highlanders from the Podhale (sub-Tatra) region, the Żywiec Beskid Mts. and Silesian Beskid Mts. with the aim to preserve the Carpathian traditional sheep farms. In its actions, the Cooperative draws on shepherds' culture,  where the ability to cooperate with other farmers putting out sheep to graze together is the pre-requisite for their economic success.
Beskid Zielony “Green Beskid” Local Tourist Organisation  (Gorlice) gathers representatives of local associations, local self-governments, tourist sector, entrepreneurs and individuals operating within the territory of the Low Beskid Mts. and the Carpathian Foothills. The actions undertaken by the Organisation aimed at fostering sustainable development of tourism use the assets of the region with due respect to nature and cultural heritage so that this source one can derive from would never dry up.
