Swiss-Polish Cooperation Programme, the so-called Swiss Funds, is a form of a irreclaimable foreign assistance granted by Switzerland to Poland and nine other Member States which acceded the European Union on 1 May 2004. Pursuant to the international agreements concluded on 20 December 2007 in Bern, over 1 billion Swiss francs shall be allocated to ten new member states. The Swiss-Polish Cooperation Programme supports Poland with almost half of these funds( approx. 489 million Swiss francs).
